Batekoo Festival 2023
Image treatment and illustrations for the 2nd. edition of the Batekoo Festival. I worked alongside with Bile (@bile.wtf) as the Art Director and Gabu Gusmão (@gabunira) as Creative Artist and Illustrator.
Batekoo is a brazilian platform for entertainment, entrepreneurship and culture for black, peripheral and LGBTQIAPN+ communities, that seeks to propose narratives in the Brazilian cultural scene to promote social transformations in the market.
The main illustration was an digital overpainting from the work of Bernardo Conceição. [see above]
Following the art direction, I made two special illustrations for the event, to evoke and expand the spirit of the event and its participants. [see below]
In this teamwork, the illustrations and icons created were freely used by the platform for multiple purposes, such as posters, ads and video promotions.
