BTK FEST 23
Together with Bile (@bile.wtf) as the Art Director and Gabu Gusmão (@gabunira) as Creative Artist and Illustrator, we worked the image treatment and illustrations for the 2nd. edition of the Batekoo Festival.
Batekoo is a brazilian platform for entertainment, entrepreneurship and culture for black, peripheral and LGBTQIAPN+ communities, that seeks to propose narratives in the Brazilian cultural scene to promote social transformations in the market.
The main illustration was a digital overpainting from the work of Bernardo Conceição. [see above]. Following the art direction, I made two special illustrations for the event, to evoke and expand the spirit of the event and its participants. [see below]
In this teamwork, the illustrations and icons created were freely used by the platform for multiple purposes, such as posters, ads and video promotions.
BTK FEST 22
I worked alongside with Bile (@bile.wtf) as the Art Director and former official Designer at Batekoo, and Gabu Gusmão (@gabunira) as Creative Artist and Illustrator. Together, the three of us created the main poster and the illustrations for the 1st. edition of the festival.
The main poster was a creation in partnership with Gabu Gusmão with the Art Direction of Bile. The bracelet-tickets were specially made to be collectables, that when assembled together, it would form the image main poster. [see above]
Later on Gabu Gusmão and I were responsable for the creation of various illustrations for the event itself. We wanted to celebrate the people whom the event is dedicated to: black people, women, the LGBTQIAPN+ community and furthermore, the outkasts from our country Brasil. [see below]
